Sequoias can grow more than 300 feet tall, yet their roots reach only about 12 feet deep. Their strength comes not from depth, but from connection—their roots are intertwined. Their resilience is collective.

This image captures the core premise of the Sustainable Herbs Initiative (SHI) and a growing movement within the natural products industry: building regenerative supply networks where resilience comes from collaboration, transparency, and trust.

Resilience isn’t achieved by isolated action—it’s built through interconnected relationships that strengthen the whole ecosystem. This panel will explore how regenerative principles can guide how we work together, not just what we source or produce.

Panelists will share case studies and insights, including:
1.    Foundational principles on which the SHI network is based and the practices through which relationships among participants are established and deepened.
2.    New collaborative frameworks for mapping and reducing Scope 3 emissions across shared supply networks.
3.    Partnering—even among competitors—to address extreme climate disruptions from Hurricane Helene and to secure long-term ingredient supply.
4.    Supplier relationships grounded in reciprocity and shared value, rather than extraction and transaction.

Attendees will leave with practical examples and frameworks for building regenerative networks that drive both business resilience and meaningful climate action.
