Kittylamb

Kittylamb was founded in 2022 by Kat who was told to be medicated for life after suffering from a chronic illness. She naively believed a "brownie" was a brownie or a piece of "bread" was just bread. After doing her own ingredient exploration, she realized she wasn't sick; she'd been fooled into feeding her body chemicals. In a way, her body was rejecting these foods and she just didn't understand how to listen to it.

With a new outlook on food, Kat knew she wanted to take a stance against the scary big food industry. While Kat grew up scratch baking with her Grandmas, she also spent many years baking the nostalgic box mixes. In recent years, Kat had switched to making everything entirely from scratch. But as many people can relate, life can't always wait for the time of scratch-made. One night a few summers ago, Kat's Dad requested brownies at 10:00pm with an impromptu of guests around. Picture the last 45 seconds of any chopped episode. Scrambling to grab a kitchen scale, the chocolate bars to melt, the sugars, the chocolate chips, etc. In the midst of all of this she thought there has to be a way to proportion all of this out. Like all of it. So she began testing and Kittylamb was born about a year later. A nickname her Dad used to call her when she was little.

Kittylamb is revolutionizing the baking mix industry. Knocking boring baking mixes out of the way. It's exciting to see a change in such a stale category. Especially, a change that's bringing nostalgia back but with clean ingredients.
