Climate Day Workshop: Developing a Corporate Climate Transition Action Plan (CTAP)
Information
A Climate Transition Action Plan (CTAP) is a framework that guides business planning and responds to growing stakeholder expectations around a central question: How is your business working to achieve a net-zero future? Between public ESG reporting, local and national regulations, and supplier and customer requests, many companies already share elements of how they plan to move from setting greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction targets to taking action. However, few companies have taken the step of fully taking stock of their climate initiatives and formalizing them into a comprehensive CTAP that meets evolving stakeholder and regulatory requirements.
This session will provide actionable insights into how businesses, regardless of size, can assess their existing climate programs, disclosures, and initiatives to develop a robust CTAP that supports their overall climate strategy. Participants will leave with a clear understanding of how to leverage current resources and climate-related data to create a structured plan that addresses near-term priorities while supporting long-term sustainability goals.
