With BAR-U-EAT you're getting real people and real food. We live in the mountains of Colorado, we love to get outdoors, have fun and not take ourselves too seriously. Founded by childhood bestfriends Sam and Jason, and inspired from Sam's time working as a guid in iceland, we committed ourselves to making a bar with ingredients you can see, taste and know. We lightly roast oats, nuts, and seeds and combine them with a touch of salt to give you the perfect amount of savory. This is then balanced by the warm sweetness of medjool dates and local Steamboat Springs honey. The result — a deliciously sweet yet savory snack that tastes incredible, is both soft and crunchy, and comes sealed in plant-based compostable packaging. We're incredibly passionate about what we do and making sure it's at the highest level. We make all our bars and bites in our facility, just outside Steamboat Springs, Colorado. We're a value driven business focused on clean organic ingredients, free of any oils or preservatives, and sealed in compostable packaging.
