Session One: Where Bold Concepts Bloom 1-2pm

Discover opportunities, ideate solutions and understand trends and data.

Join Pedro Gonçalves, VP of marketing Tetra Pak U.S. and Canada, and Brandon Casteel, VP of partnerships at SPINS, to learn how an understanding of trends and data can foster ideation and help uncover opportunities to give your product the best possible start. Special guest Jason Pelz, VP of sustainability for Tetra Pak U.S. and Canada, will also speak to the value sustainability brings in establishing a brand’s ethos.

Understanding where the world, and the food and beverage industry, are headed is crucial. Staying ahead of the competition and continually innovating are what allow a brand to become an industry leader. This is why we diligently gain insights for a deeper awareness that helps customers to not only succeed but thrive. In this session, we will focus on new and emerging brands who need insights and support in interpreting data for brand development. We’ll share how aligning with Tetra Pak helps in establishing brand values that reflect the consumer beliefs they hope to appeal to. This is where bold concepts bloom.

Session Two: Where Product Potential Becomes Production Reality 2:15-3:30pm

Create and deliver through design, formulation and testing.

Hear from Tetra Pak Marketing Services Manager Joyce Nassif, Tetra Pak Senior Food Scientist Driver Abigail Dagadu, and Dr. James Gratzek, Director of The University of Georgia Food Product Innovation and Commercialization Center, for the inside scoop on the product creation process. A panel of experts discuss the challenges in bringing a product to life and the ways in which customers explore and test new ideas with unmatched process capability and flexibility. The Tetra Pak Product Development Center (PDC), a full-scale FDA-approved production environment, allows brands to optimize the processing technology required for optimal efficiency and consistent results, giving brands the chance to try new ingredients, different packaging designs or how their formula reacts when produced at scale. Learn how this proven process transforms ideation into product innovation to create the right foundation for future sales success. The session will close with attendees sampling and voting on 3-4 “new” beverages as they get a taste of the co-creation experience!

Session Three: Where Brands Scale Up Production to Meet Growing Demand 4-5pm

Ascertain what’s required to meet growth needs and scale.

In this fireside chat, Mat Rutz, VP of co-manufacturing for Tetra Pak U.S. and Canada, Lauren McNamara, SVP Business Management for SunOpta, and George Riad, COO of California Aseptic Beverages, discuss how Tetra Pak’s extensive co-packer network is leveraged to create a channel strategy, ensure customers are attractive to co-mans and retailers, and prepare them to scale-up operations to meet consumer demand.

Audiences will learn how we use deep partner relationships and our longstanding presence within the food and beverage industry to enable growth. In today’s business environment, a collaborative network is required for success. From innovation and technological development to automation and sustainability, we grow alongside our customers, sharing and applying expertise for mutual progress in business, food systems and beyond.
