Meet the founder of LAC - Ms. Cynthia Poa.
Ms. Cynthia Poa was born into a family who wanted her to be a medical doctor.
However, at the age of 19 while she was out volunteering in healthcare work, she wondered if there was a better way to help more people. As she believed in "prevention is better than cure," she began to think whether medical study was her ideal path. Instead of treating an illness, why not try to prevent it?
With that, Ms. Cynthia resolutely gave up her plan to pursue medical study and turned to the field of nutrition and self-care. In few years following, she opened more than 20 stores in Singapore, with annual sales reaching millions of dollars, and helping thousands of people.
With in-depth study of nutrition science, she discovered that oxidative stress was the root of many human diseases. With that realisation, she turned her focus to more in-depth research and exploration in the field of antioxidation, in pursuit of the most powerful antioxidant to most improve people's immune system and overall health and well-being. She later founded LAC - Leader in Antioxidative Control™, a homegrown Singapore brand that pioneers in the field of antioxidation in 1997.
Over the past 30 years, Ms. Cynthia has continued her in-depth research and exploration in the field of antioxidation. Her mission – to help people improve their health so they can always function at their best and lead a quality life.
