Scent Fill began with you in mind. Our founder, Mark Callison, was sending his daughter Alyssa a care package while she was away at college when she asked him to include some plug in air fresheners to make her dorm feel fresh and welcoming. Like any parent, he wanted her space to feel safe, cozy, and like home.
While looking for options, Mark was surprised to find that most plug in air fresheners contained only trace amounts of essential oils. That fell short of the cleaner, healthier ingredients he wanted for his daughter — and that families like yours deserve.
While other home and personal care products had moved toward more natural alternatives, plug ins were still behind. Mark knew you needed a better option and set out to make it happen.
Determined to raise the standard, Mark invested in extensive research, rigorous testing, and partnered with top perfumers. After countless trials, Scent Fill launched in 2017 as a family-owned and operated brand, proudly introducing the first 100% natural plug in air freshener.
In 2023, the story came full circle when Alyssa joined the business, working alongside her dad to help guide the next chapter of Scent Fill.
