Founder Jenna Davis ( me :) ) combined her past studies in marine biology, chemistry and years of research and trials and developed an eco-conscious
biodegradable, moisturizing mineral sunscreen.
I started this in my kitchen while working on a boat in Maui . I could not find one mineral sunscreen that went on without a white cast, had organic ingredients and in sustainable packaging- so I Made my own! I would pull my wagon of home made sunscreen along the beach teaching tourists about sunscreen health for them and the environment! I worked farmers markets and sold it on the beach... Fast forward I worked hard and saved up and became the first FDA regulated sunscreen to emerge from Hawaii . I was the first sunscreen out of Hawaii to get into Whole Foods and now in over 600 stores, a full line and even voted the best all natural sunscreen by Rolling stone magazine!
