Humeal was founded in 2021 in South Korea with a simple belief: that food should be honest, nourishing, and made with respect for both people and the planet. Our journey began with a small team of innovators, researchers, and food lovers who were frustrated by overly processed plant alternatives that were neither truly nutritious nor clean. We wanted to create something better—using real ingredients, whole grains, and natural processes that preserve what nature intended.

We developed our proprietary SSP™ (Super Short Process) technology to maximize nutrient retention while minimizing processing steps, allowing soy, oats, and grains to remain close to their original form. By using the whole ingredient—including elements often discarded like oat and soybean hulls—we naturally increase dietary fiber, micronutrients, and plant-based proteins in our products.

What started as a local project with a handful of prototypes soon grew into a movement. Our early success in the Korean market opened doors to the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Southeast Asia, where customers resonated with our clean-label approach and authentic nutritional integrity.

Today, Humeal is proud to produce a wide range of plant-based ingredients and finished products that are cruelty-free, sustainable, and transparently made. We are not just offering alternatives to dairy or processed powders—we are redefining what plant-based nutrition can and should be. Our mission remains rooted in that original belief from 2021: to support healthier lifestyles and a kinder global food future, one bowl, one cup, and one consumer at a time.
