Beloved began with a moment of clarity in Sedona, Arizona, in 2018. Our founder, David Bentley, was introduced to shilajit on a trip that was supposed to be a simple getaway. Instead, it became a turning point. One taste, one shift in energy, one unmistakable sense of "this is what my body has been missing"—and a lifelong commitment began. Not just to shilajit, but to the deeper mission behind it: helping people remember what it feels like to feel good.
That's the heart of Beloved.
Most people don't realize they're living with imbalance. They assume exhaustion is normal, stress is inevitable, and burnout is just part of modern life. But when the body is starved of trace minerals—the spark plugs of cellular energy—everything from mood to metabolism to hormone balance takes a hit. We saw this everywhere: good people running on empty, blaming themselves for what was really a biological shortage.
Shilajit changes that. It brings minerals, fulvic compounds, and mitochondrial cofactors back into the system in the form nature intended. But there was a problem: most people have never heard of shilajit, and many who have find the traditional resin form inconvenient, messy, or intimidating. Something so powerful shouldn't be so inaccessible.
So we built Beloved to bridge that gap.
We source our shilajit from above 11,000 feet in the pristine Altai Mountains—an elevation so untouched that the resin is naturally free from pollutants. We use a water-only purification method that preserves the integrity of the minerals and compounds. And we present it in clean, modern formats people can actually integrate into their daily routines.
