Our MASA chips are corn-based tortilla chips fried in beef tallow. They were the first snack we launched, and the one that started it all!
It all began when Steven and Seth were hanging out, and Seth was eating tortilla chips fried in seed oils. Steven started ranting about how unhealthy seed oils are and how there weren't any good-tasting, seed oil-free chips on the market. They joked about starting a business to fix that problem-then in 2022 they decided to actually do it. The goal: to create a real, nourishing tortilla chip that didn't compromise on flavor or crunch. And just like that, MASA was born.
Our Vandy Crisps are our potato-based chip, fried in beef tallow. Vandy started because, since day one, our MASA customers have asked us to make a potato chip in a similar style. We rose to meet the demand.
