Sheena Jongeneel, L.Ac. and TCM practitioner, is the founder and CEO of Empress, a women's wellness and hormone health supplement line formulated for specific life stages. As a licensed acupuncturist with 19 years of clinical experience, Sheena brings evidence-based traditional herbs to market—translating her extensive clinical expertise into carefully formulated CPG products developed in partnership with an MD.
The catalyst for Empress came when her daughter experienced debilitating cramps during her first period. As both a mother and a practitioner, Sheena realized there were no products on the market addressing the entire women's journey from menarche to menopause with natural solutions. Determined to fill this gap, Sheena set out to make the traditional herbal solutions she'd been successfully prescribing for nearly two decades accessible to all women—addressing PMS, perimenopause, menopause, hormonal acne, and cycle irregularity.
Currently pursuing her Doctorate in Women's Reproductive Health, Sheena is on a mission to reconnect women with time-tested natural solutions and ensure every woman knows she has options for hormonal health beyond "just deal with it."
