I've always believed that Food is Medicine, and that proper nutrition will guard against ailments. A wholesome diet and holistic wellness can open up a more vibrant and fulfilling life. More than just Food is Medicine, I believe Food is Health!
When I was laid off during the pandemic, I was challenged to meet my own and my family's nutritional needs to stay healthy during lockdown. It's hard to get enough nutrients from fruits and vegetables every day, particularly given that produce is less nutrient dense than it was 30 years ago.
When it comes to supplements, I've never liked pills – they make me nauseous and are just plain boring – and my dentist had been warning me away from gummy vitamins.
So many people know they should start adding nutrients to their diets, but they are uninspired by the options or don't know where to start. I knew there had to be a better way.
