Hassan Safieddine and Ryan Brothers are millennials who were introduced as cubicle neighbors in their corporate finance office. This dreary space was about all they thought they shared in common. Unbeknownst, it was the exact opposite:

Each was a former professional athlete (Basketball for Hassan & Snowboarding for Ryan), lived health-conscious lifestyles, and regularly snacked on the same high protein / low sugar bars.
While their coworkers often started the day with doughy, soft donuts - this dynamic duo attempted to stay true to their love of health by substituting with protein bars based on bakery classics such as Maple Glazed Donut, Sprinkled Donut & Birthday Cake.
Like clockwork, the time would strike 2:45 pm and they'd have to throw wads of paper at one another to keep awake. They always got hit hard with the afternoon sugar crash and lack of energy.
As their friendship blossomed, conversations changed from the weather to deep questions of purpose, as the discus what they were doing in their finance careers, and why they gave up donuts for highly processed bars that had almost as much sugar and none of the satisfaction that real confectionary treats always delivered.
A few cups of coffee later and [what would become] Drumroll Snacks was born.
The dream was clear, recreate the classic donuts we all grew up with - only healthy.
The challenge was to not compromise on the fluffy texture, cakey consistency, or glaze-y finish.
After hundreds of recipe fails, a small round cakey perfection drenched in melted chocolate glaze was created?
