ORYZAE was founded in 2018 in Japan with a vision to share the cultural and health benefits of fermentation with the global community. The journey began with a simple idea: to use rice koji, a traditional Japanese ingredient, to create better alternatives for modern food. From our early experiments in small kitchens, we grew into a food innovation company committed to sustainability and wellness.

One of the turning points came when we introduced sugar-free granola and koji-based sweeteners, products that resonated strongly with health-conscious consumers, especially young families and women seeking natural, functional foods. What started as a local initiative has expanded globally, with growing traction in the U.S. market through collaborations with partners and retailers.
