Magiktea

Information

Palo azul means "blue stick", and it gets its name because the bark of the plant is used to brew an incredible blue tea that is rich in fluorescent polyphenols which give it its blue color. These polyphenols also make it a powerful antioxidant & anti-inflammatory...so palo azul has been used as a traditional remedy for over 500 years in Central America to promote the health of the kidneys, liver, diabetes, arthritis, sciatica, gout, and urinary tract infections. Palo azul tea is also alkaline, 0 caffeine, 0 sugar, 0 calories and it has a smooth, earthy, refreshing flavor with bright undertones.

Our family started Magiktea in 2020 to share this extraordinary tea with others so that everyone can enjoy mother nature's most magical tea. We've been doing demos at 200+ health markets across the U.S. (e.g. Erewhon, Bristol Farms, Gelsons, Lassens, Lazy Acres, Clark's Nutrition, Chamberlins, Earth Origins) and people love that it's beautiful, natural and healthy! We also exhibited at Expo West 2023 and debuted our biodegradable palo azul tea bags and people loved that they're more convenient to prepare and they're better for the environment.

Our palo azul is USDA Certified Organic and all our packaging is made from post-consumer recycled material in order to reduce carbon emissions and plastic waste.
