Kuli Kuli Foods

Information

A Peace Corps volunteer had a dream to use nourishing superfoods to create a sustainable business with women in West Africa.

Kuli Kuli was started by Lisa Curtis, a Peace Corp volunteer, who discovered the incredible nutrition powerhouse known as moringa, while serving in Niger. Before leaving Africa, Lisa promised the villagers that she would do her best to continue to support them half a world away. Once home in the US, Lisa set out to introduce Americans to the power of moringa, which had been so critical to sustaining her while she was in Niger. She also wanted to give back to the people that had supported her abroad and made sourcing from small, women operated farms a pilar of Kuli Kuli's DNA.

Fast forward to 2025... Kuli Kuli is proud to be a women led, B Corp that has purchased over $6.4 million worth of moringa from small farms in Africa and India, supported 3,797 livelihoods, offsets 300 million kg of carbon annually through tree planting, and diverted
180,000 plastic water bottles annually through our recycled packaging. And, we're just getting started!
