More than a decade ago, Mike, our founder, met Bryce Hooton one of New Zealand's founding beekeepers who knew all about making honey in harmony with Nature; he is blind and so lives his life by the sound of the bees.
Bryce passed his incredible knowledge on to
Mike, and with that, he developed the Art of Ethical Beekeeping and founded Manukora.
The desire of bringing this miracle of Nature to the world propelled Mike on an incredible journey that continues today, with every jar of Manukora that arrives in our customers hands.

Established in New Zealand in 2015, we have invested heavily in unique beekeeping practices that prioritize the health of bees and their environments.
