Founded 2021, our pursuit of cleaner protein began. We couldn't help but notice that most protein products seemed to contain a lot of nasty stuff, like fillers, artificial ingredients, colorants, dyes, and more. We also knew that a lot of protein powders were made by using harsh heat and chemical-extraction processes. And who wants to put that into their body? We knew from our background and expertise in the dairy industry that not all products are created equal. So, we asked ourselves: why isn't there a truly clean protein powder out there for people who care about what they put in their bodies? We knew there had to be a better way to create a clean, simple, and effective protein powder that could fuel any kind of performance needs, didn't cut corners or compromise on quality, and had data and science to back it up. So, we got to work. Lucky for us, we weren't starting from scratch. Our parent company, Lactalis American Group, has been creating high quality dairy proteins for more than 20 years, including beloved brands like siggi's, Stonyfield Organic, and more. And for just as long, it has been pioneering the development of native whey protein. Through our work, we figured out how to capture the essence of the protein by sourcing it directly from farm-fresh milk. Then we used our proprietary cold-filtration process to create a protein powder without the use of any damaging chemicals or heat. And that's how we came together to create UP2U with a line of clean protein products for people who care about what goes into their bodies.
