When I was pregnant with my daughter, I became acutely aware of what I was putting in and on my body. I focused on avoiding toxins and plastics, and there seemed to be thoughtful alternatives in nearly every category - from food to personal care to home cleaning. But when it came to water, things got murky.

I couldn’t make sense of what was actually in our tap water, and the more I learned about bottled water, the worse it got. What started as an effort to protect my growing family quickly became an urgency to create something better. That’s how Loonen was born.
