GIUSTI BALSAMIC VINEGAR

Information

Giusti is known as the oldest producer of Balsamic Vinegar of Modena in Italy. Founded in Modena in 1605, the production of Balsamico remained a private affair for centuries, made by families for personal consumption and as prestigious gifts. The "Acetaia," or ageing room, was considered a valuable family asset, and the master vinegar maker was typically a family member initiated into the craft from a young age. This ancient tradition continues today, passed down through generations. Now in its 17th generation, the Giusti family is led by Claudio Stefani Giusti, who combines innovation and modernity with a deep respect for tradition.
Giusti's production is rooted in an ancient recipe written by the ancestor Giuseppe in 1863. Today, the range includes DOP Traditional Balsamic Vinegars, an Historical Collection of 5 IGP products, Reserves, new sweet and sour flavored dressings, organic products, and gourmet and mixology offerings.
Giusti is also renowned for its dedication to hospitality, welcoming thousands of visitors each year to Casa Giusti, a historic hamlet surrounded by Modena's countryside. Guests can explore the family museum, the ancient aging rooms, and enjoy a tasting of the famous "black gold." In addition to Casa Giusti, flagship boutiques in Modena, Bologna, Milan, and Florence offer immersive experiences for high-quality Balsamic Vinegar.
Today, Giusti's products are distributed worldwide, featured in exclusive hotels, restaurants, and fine food shops. The brand is actively involved in both national and international events, maintaining a close on- and offline community. Among these initiatives is Giusti Day, celebrated on May 16th, the company's anniversary, chosen in honor of its founding year, 1605.
