Recoup Beverage, Inc.

The origins of recoup goes all the way back to Siwat's (our founders) childhood healthcare experience. He spent the first few years of my life in the hospital and by the time he was twelve he had undergone 10 major surgeries. It was his mother's ginger-based remedies that played a big part in his recovery and the memories of these home remedies are what eventually inspired recoup. In the years to come he would pursue a degree in applied physiology and he would find myself working in the same hospital where he grew up, working with children with heart & lung disease. During this time, he discovered numerous studies using a dose of 2 tsp of ginger to promote muscle recovery, digestion, and immunity. From there, he started working on the first version of recoup in the kitchen of his tiny Manhattan studio.
