KACE began with a craving for authentic Asian tea and community. Our co-founder Ash grew up in Taiwan, where tea was an everyday staple that brought people together. Whether it's through boba runs or business meetings over tea-- tea created space that allowed people to connect. After moving to the U.S., she couldn't find fruit teas that captured the craft and quality of the Taiwanese-style iced teas she loved—freshly brewed tea shaken with real fruit juice. So she started making her own in her San Francisco apartment, serving them at dinner parties to friends and guests. The response was electric.

Inspired by the community that tea creates, Ash teamed up with her partner Kyle, and together they brought their Taiwanese and Filipino roots to life through KACE—a fruit tea brand reimagining tea culture in the U.S. We launched in November 2023 through e-commerce and quickly began partnering with Good Stuff Distributors, a leading independent DSD in Northern California in January of 2024. Today (May 2025), KACE is sold in select Whole Foods stores in California, and we're expanding into Raley's and World Market in June 2025 with more expansion on the horizon.

What makes KACE unique is our blend of cultural heritage and boundary-pushing branding. With an art and culture forward identity, we bring tea into unexpected spaces—fashion shows, chef tastings, DJ sets, and creative gatherings. We're carving out a new identity for tea in America, one rooted in culture, connection, and a strong community of tea lovers who believe tea isn't just a beverage—it's an experience.
