Proper Good was founded in 2020 by sibling duo Christopher and Jennifer Jane with a simple mission: to create higher-quality, affordable ready meals. At the time, the shelf-stable aisle was filled with outdated canned options lacking in flavor, texture, and modern nutrition. So, Proper Good launched with four soups sold direct-to-consumer - and quickly expanded into a full range of meal occasions.
After a successful appearance on Shark Tank, the team kicked off a national retail rollout featuring shelf-stable meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Every Proper Good meal is made in the USA, and the company is proudly headquartered in Austin, TX.
To date, we've donated tens of thousands of meals to food banks, and sold millions of meals both online and in major retailers. Our goal? To lead the next generation of shelf-stable meals - with quality, convenience, and care at the core.
