Harken Sweets is the brainchild of Katie Lefkowitz, former inaugural COO of CAULIPOWER, who was inspired by reinventing frozen food with the power of superfoods. She has combined this learning with a family-famous date caramel recipe, and seeks to similarly disrupt the candy category with the power of a new superfood - the date fruit. Her background in life sciences has enabled her to develop never-before-seen formulations, and also drives her passion for making better-for-you products accessible and desirable to all: "When It comes to healthy eating, my philosophy has always been: Don't restrict, Replace. People won't swap their Snickers for a salad; they will swap it for a Harken bar.
