Founded in Los Angeles in 2018, Daring Foods produces plant-based chicken aimed to provide a healthy food alternative. The company's products include vegan meat products that are dairy and egg-free.

Like many of you, we were raised on chicken. It was a staple at our family meals, a standard in our school cafeterias, and a go-to at our favorite fast food chains. It was affordable, delicious, and absolutely everywhere. It turns out that there are certain compromises that have to occur to provide us with all that chicken. How the animals are raised, what they eat, the amount of animal waste that's generated. And it's not sustainable. It might seem hard to believe, but changing your chicken might just change a lot of things. For the better.
As we've become aware of the health benefits of eating more plants and the troubling aspects of producing affordable animal chicken, we were inspired to make a plant chicken for chicken lovers. Our goal is to make plant chicken that tastes incredible and to encourage more people of all diet types to introduce plant-based chicken into their daily life.
