Gilad&Gilad (G&G) was founded in 2000 in Israel by the husband-and-wife neuroscientist team, Gad M. Gilad, Ph.D. and Varda H. Gilad, after their discovery of the robust neuroprotective properties of agmatine in 1994 and following extensive scientific research to characterize the molecular mechanism of agmatine in sustaining the nervous system's ability to withstand injury and disease.

G&G develops and markets its exclusive Agmaceutical® line of products containing G-Agmatine®. G-Agmatine®, the Company's proprietary brand of the highest quality agmatine, has been shown to maintain, protect and preserve healthy nerve functions in animals and people. The Company's core products are marketed worldwide to consumers facing all types of challenges to nervous system proper functions.

AgmaSet® (a dietary supplement) and AgmaVet® (for animals) are the Company's first-of-their-kind products superior to existing therapeutics for sustaining resilient nerve functions. The products are backed by human clinical trials and validated by substantial scientific research. In addition, the Company holds a patent (issued in 2017) that protects the use of high dose G-Agmatine® regimens for neuroprotection in dietary supplements, nutraceuticals and food (including medical foods), and a recent, 2023, patent protecting agmatine compositions for maintaining proper joint health.
