Before starting Biena in 2012, our founder, Poorvi Patodia felt like everywhere she looked, snacks primarily contained empty calories. Then she remembered eating crispy roasted chickpeas in her childhood. They were a family favorite, and packed with nutrients like protein and fiber. That's how the idea for Biena's first innovative snack line - roasted chickpeas - was born.
