Bill Odom graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Poultry Science. Out of college he went to work for Campbell Soup. He helped them improve their program naturally and they wanted to promote him to New Jersey in the corporate office. He asked how long the hunting season is and they said "two weeks" and he said "thank you for your time." Bill is an avid quail hunter and applied the natural husbandry program to raising quail to train his hunting dogs. He was quite successful in this such that he had too many quail. The neighbors said "if you dress them, we will buy them". So in the back yard on a picnic table hatched Manchester Farms. He started out selling retail but then the chefs caught wind of the first commercially produced quail and started supporting our farm. Fifty years later we are still supported by tops chefs and retailers across the country. We are the only SQF Level 2, Animal Welfare Certified quail farm in the US. Our quail eggs are antibiotic free, Halal and Kosher. Quail and quail eggs are rich in nutrition. Multi demographics love quail: healthy conscious, children, pets, elderly, ethnic and foodies love quail and quail eggs. Quail eggs are very on trend and seeing tremendous growth right now as well.
