At LA SALT CO, our journey began with a legacy spanning over 40 years in the salt and ingredients industry. Growing up immersed in the world of raw materials, we gained firsthand knowledge of what makes an ingredient truly effective. This passion for understanding the science behind products laid the foundation for our company.
In 2018, as Los Angeles' largest distributor of salts, we saw an increasing demand for specialty salts like Himalayan and Dead Sea salts. To meet this need, we launched LA SALT CO to service businesses with bulk specialty salts. However, when the COVID-19 pandemic hit, it significantly impacted our start. During this challenging time, we shifted our focus to retail packaging, allowing us to expand into new markets.
As we worked to grow our business, our personal lives inspired a deeper mission. Despite the sunshine in Los Angeles, the daily grind and stressors were taking a toll on us. We discovered the transformative benefits of magnesium-rich salt baths and saw firsthand how they improved our mood, energy, and overall well-being. This experience became the catalyst for creating a full bath and body line.
We set out to share the benefits of these incredible salts with others, crafting safe, non-toxic, vegan, and cruelty-free products powered by the mineral-rich salts of the earth. From sourcing to formulating and packaging, every step is handled in-house at our Los Angeles facility, ensuring quality and transparency in everything we create.
Today, LA SALT CO offers a range of products designed to help you rest, reset, and feel your best. Whether it's through soothing salt baths or nourishing skincare, our mission is to bring you the same health and happiness these products have brought to us.
