Hi, I'm Max, the founder of Sky & Sol. My journey started with a personal transformation—after embracing animal-based nutrition, I experienced powerful healing and began to question what I was putting on my body, not just in it.
What I found shocked me: most skincare products, even the "natural" ones, are filled with toxic chemicals and highly processed seed oils. That realization became painfully clear when I climbed Mount Kilimanjaro. For seven days under intense sun, I had no sunscreen I could trust—only products filled with ingredients I wouldn't dare eat, let alone apply to my skin.
So I turned to something ancient and pure: tallow, a nutrient-dense fat once revered for its similarity to our skin's natural oils. Combining this ancestral wisdom with modern science, I created a tallow-based sunscreen that's safe, effective, and deeply nourishing—without compromising health.
