Phil Vigeant and Greg Cooper founded the PlantFusion Brand in 2009. Phil grew up in the natural products industry, working in his family owned and operated natural products store in New Jersey. Greg, a 40-year veteran of the Natural Food Industry, began his career working the floors of his family's health food stores. They were two health "foodies" frustrated by their inability to find a simple protein shake that wasn't full of allergens (e.g. soy, gluten and dairy), empty fillers, or overly processed ingredients like whey protein. They wanted authentic, 100% plant-based, nutrient-dense, allergen-free products that delight the senses. Phil and Greg began traveling the world to find the cleanest farming practices, the best growing conditions, and the healthiest varieties of plants for our blends. Every transparent detail counts as they are intimately involved in selecting each ingredient and crafting every formula to deliver Complete Nourishment. We understand intuitively that the right nutritional profile has the power to do more than fill us with calories, but make life more complete, balanced, and nourished. With breakthrough products and a growing awareness around what used to be obscure nutritional concerns, people began to take notice and PlantFusion was born.
