TURBANA

Information

In 1996 a group of Colombian producers start their banana company called Uniban to sell their own fruit directly to the market. In 2004 the idea of creating a snack brand called Turbana was born, with the purpose of giving an added value to the fruit that was marketed through Uniban while supporting banana producers with an additional alternative to market their fruit. In 2008 Turbana builds its firts snack plant in Uraba to produce plantain chips. The factory created new jobs and provided an additional source of income for plantain farmers. Then in 2010 we launched Turbana with plantain chips in 6 available flavors.
