The idea for Natural Organics—and its flagship brand, NaturesPlus—took root when the late Gerald Kessler, who had worked in the pharma industry, came to see conventional medicines as a salve that only masked affliction without addressing its root causes.
He realized that, unlike the isolated compounds found in most pharmaceuticals, botanicals contain many phytonutrients that work much better together. He described this gap as "the difference between knowledge and wisdom."
This insight resulted in the establishment of Natural Organics in 1972. Today, we continue in Mr. Kessler's footsteps by continuing to produce innovative products that not only meet our customers' needs…but far exceed them.
Mr. Kessler thought of Natural Organics as a family, and this concept has always been at the core of our company—when we say we treat our employees like family, we mean it! We currently employ about 400 people at our main manufacturing base in Melville, New York and a satellite location in Reno, Nevada; our products are available in more than 100 countries around the world.
