Kindling Provisions

Founded in 2024, we wanted to create snacks that get your fire started! We were tired of nutrient deficient snacks that lacked sustenance to keep us adventuring. One day, our Founder, Cameron Smith, was asked by his daughter to put pretzels in her lunch for school. He felt bad because he knew that pretzels were essentially just white flour and artificial flavors. He decided he wanted to put more nutrient dense ingredients into snacks and pretzels were the perfect place to start. After co-founding and selling Kodiak Cakes to Private Equity, Cameron didn't take long to get the itch to get back into creator/founder mode in order to add Protein and Whole Grains into another part of the store that desperately needs healthier options. Soon after getting a minimum viable product, he reached out to his Head of Marketing from Kodiak Cakes to see if he was interested in joining him to create a brand, perfect the product, and recruit a killer team of ambassadors and retailers to help us launch the product in market. The name Kindling comes from our hope to be the Kindling to your personal fire. Every great adventure is fueled by the right nutrients and we hope our snacks help you play more, adventure longer, and Feed Your Flame! Why the fox? Well, that is a funny story actually.
