TORRES started its beginnings in 1969 with Manuel Torres and his wife, Ángeles Medel opening their potato chip stand in Premiá de Mar (Spain).
Shortly after, the business started growing and Manuel and Juan, the couple's children, decided to expand the business and move the production of the potato chips to Premià de Dalt, keeping the stand open.
The traditional, handcrafted process employed by the Torres family generates popularity among their potato chips because of their quality. In 1995, in order to attend to the increasing demands, they decided to move to bigger facilities in Dosrius.
Over the years Torres has been growing and becoming more and more popular, to start operating internationally with Dutch market to be the first foreign place to sell Torres chips.
In 2016 we renewed and extended our production facilities. We use the latest technology and high-tech machinery.
We are located just 35km far from the Port of Barcelona. Our production facility is based in the Industrial Park El Pedregar(Montmeló).
Due to the new facilities we ensure a growing production capacity for the next few years.
