Ayeshah Abuelhiga missed the comfort food she ate growing up – made with fresh ingredients, from scratch, like she learned from her immigrant parents who taught her about cooking clean.
No one in fast food cared about the quality of ingredients, so she decided to change that by opening a restaurant in 2014.
The restaurant had mile-long lines, sold-out daily, and expanded across the DC metro region.
Retailers took notice. They wanted better for their customers too. So Mason Dixie launched a frozen biscuit line into grocery in 2015 and expanded into frozen breakfast sandwiches - just like the ones served at her restaurant - in 2021.
Our products can now be found in 9000+ grocery and hospitality locations nationwide.
