Goodie Girl founder Shira Berk has always met life with a bit of an edge and a whole lot of energy. After leaving a career in the music industry, Shira shifted her creative focus to the kitchen, making great tasting treats at her small Goodie Girl café in Tribeca. A self-trained baker, with bold instincts for all things "alternative," Shira spent countless hours blending bagsful of crazy flour to create her ridiculously delicious cookies using all natural, better-for-you ingredients.

The cookies were a big hit at the café…not to mention with Shira's kids, their friends and their parents too! And that is how Goodie Girl cookies was born!​
