Pop Daddy Snacks was started by Mark in his basement in Highland, Michigan in 2013. Mark began making popcorn after learning about the chemicals used in microwave popcorn and the disease "popcorn lung". He gave away his popcorn for free for two years before his wife and children encouraged him to sell it.
