Our Co-Founder, Trish Thomas was diagnosed with Hashimoto's disease while pregnant with her first son 16 years ago. After struggling to find food that both she and her family could enjoy together, after meeting Nichole at their children's school book fair back in 2018, they decided to start a food company that made delicious food people with or without food allergens could enjoy together. Nichole's family has dairy and gluten allergens as well and with her background with Frito Lay they created Whole & Free Foods, LLC back in November 2018. We launched our first product in late 2019, servicing a handful of retailers in the Evanston, IL community.
