Lulu Plantain Chips
Information
Lulu Plantain Chips began with two parents, two daughters, four packed bags, and a vision to share the flavors of our homeland with new communities. Our father saw in the plantain a fruit that carried both tradition and possibility. He dreamed of turning it into something greater than a side dish: a snack that could connect people, cultures, and generations.
From that vision, Lulu was born. What started as a family project has grown into a company that remains proudly Hispanic, family-owned, and deeply connected to its roots. Today, Lulu works hand in hand with more than 8,000 smallholder farmers across Latin America and employs over 1,000 collaborators who share our passion for creating snacks that matter. For us, plantain chips are not just a product; they represent livelihoods, opportunities, and a way of honoring where we come from.
Our products reflect this purpose. Every bag of Lulu Plantain Chips is made with real plantains and simple recipes that celebrate authentic flavor. From our original salted strips to sweet plantains, tostones, cassava chips, and seasonal innovations, we craft snacks that families can enjoy with confidence. Each variety carries the same dedication to quality, tradition, and the joy of gathering.
Over the past two decades, Lulu has found its way onto tables across the United States, in Costco, Sam's Club, BJ's, schools, and local supermarkets. Yet no matter where our chips are enjoyed, they always carry the same essence: a family's dream to create something meaningful, built on values of authenticity, community, and care.
For us, Lulu is more than a snack. It is a bridge between cultures, a livelihood for thousands, and proof that one vision, carried with purpose, can bring people together, one bag at a time.
