Five years ago, I embarked on a transformative health journey that would ultimately lead to the creation of our brand. After being diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, I was faced with a critical decision: follow the doctor's recommendation to go on medication for the rest of my life, or explore alternative methods to manage my condition. I chose the latter, committing to significant changes in my diet and lifestyle. For the next three and a half years, I adopted a plant-based diet, which played a critical role in reducing the inflammation in my body and improving my overall health.
During this period, my husband (also my Co-Founder) and I discovered a significant gap in the market. As someone with a sweet tooth, we both struggled to find indulgent treats that were both low in sugar and tasted good. Most options were either laden with sugar or filled with other ingredients that didn't align with my new eating preferences. This challenged sparked a desire to create a solution not just for myself, but for other who might be facing similar struggles.
Driven by this vision, we set out to reinvent the nostalgic chocolates that we all grew up loving. Our goal was to craft a treat that was not only better for you, but also irresistibly delicious. After countless iterations, we succeeded in creating a product that met our high standards for taste and a clean nutrition panel.
