SkinnyDipped has evolved from its kitchen table origins to one of the buzziest female-founded companies in the United States.
After a close family friend succumbed to a rare form of cancer at the age of eighteen, SkinnyDipped was founded in Seattle, WA, by Breezy Griffith (daughter) and Val Griffith (mother) and two of Breezy's best friends.
They had always been a close family, but were scattered here and there and like a lot of people, were busy. By the end of a bittersweet summer Breezy and Val knew one thing for sure: they wanted to spend more time together. So they started a business.
That it would be centered around food was obvious. For Val & Breezy—family, friends, food and love are all tangled up. It gets a little messy sometimes like the way a kitchen is pleasantly chaotic when everyone's whizzing around in the middle of it whipping up something delicious. Together with Breezy's two best friends (Chrissy Haller and Lizzie Resta), they spent years perfecting SkinnyDipped almonds, the first in the line of balanced, healthy and insanely delicious snacks.
