Fairy Tale Cotton Candy was founded in 2013 by Meg and Steve Shearer, two creative entrepreneurs who owned and operated a small chocolate retail operation and store for over 20 years. In an effort to boost sales in the summer, Meg & Steve acquired cotton candy machines and got to work developing a line of all natural cotton candy flavors like apple and banana. Through research they discovered that no company was innovating cotton candy! Being the creatives they are, they set out on a mission to change the world of cotton candy. We are the inventor of Pickle Cotton Candy (#1 best selling flavor!), were the first to develop a line of spicy flavors, and are at the forefront of flavor trend innovation. Fairy Tale Cotton Candy is family owned and operated our of our manufacturing facility in Des Moines, Iowa. Our goal is to delight and surprise each and every customer who tries our products.
