CHS is a leader in processing and supplying food ingredients, including sunflower, soy oil and soy flour, canola oil, and other grains. CHS Sunflower supplies ingredients to nationally known snack brands, serving more than one-half of the domestic kernel and inshell market. We also export sunflower products to Mexico and Canada, Europe, the Middle East, and the Pacific Rim. We buy direct from growers -- many our own members who grow sunflower seeds using our own CHS hybrid seed -- so we only provide the freshest and the finest. CHS offerings include confection sunflower 350-450 CPO and 450-650 CPO; bakery sunflower kernel; conoil sunflower kernel; and inshell sunflower 24/64, 22/64, 20/64, XT, XL10, and XL8. We also offer striped inshell sunflower and sunflower chips for the bird seed market.

CHS was the first sunflower processor to offer an additional measure of food safety with pasteurization for non-roasted sunflower products. Housed within the CHS roasting and packaging facility in Fargo, North Dakota, this industry-leading Log5 technology enables pasteurization without changing texture, taste or overall sensory characteristics of food products. Besides pasteurization, CHS also offers dry roasted & salted inshell as well as oil roasted kernel with or without salt, and we can vacuum package into bags or supersacks.
