The company was born from Gio vannino's
desire to transform his great passion f or
hunting and trading Truffles into a business.
In 1980, Giovannino Cecchini founded the
company Tartufi Jimmy together with his wif e Daniela. From the beginning, the dedication to
his passion has been the driving f orce of the
company's growth.
At the beginning, the c ompany's core business
is entirely dedicated to the tr ading of fresh
truffles. Thanks to his skills, Gio vannino
creates a net o f more than 400 Truffle Hunter s
throughout Italy and this allo ws him to ha ve
the best available fresh truffles all year round.
Over the years, the customers' demand leads the
company to invest and to create a laboratory in
order to produce preserved truffle products. This
is crucial, as the company starts to have the first
contacts with other countries and it is in this
moment that Andrea, the oldest child, joins Tartufi
Jimmy's team.
With Andrea's vision the company starts to invest
into fairs abroad and this generates an exponential
increase of customers and a consequential
company growth in all its departments.
At the time of the company's greatest growth, the
last piece to complete the puzzle is Silvia, the
second child of the family, focusing and dedicating
herself to the commercial relations with foreign
countries.
Nowadays, the company has become one of the
most important truffle companies in the world and
continues to grow, taking one step after another
towards the goal of bringing Truffle on tables all
over the world.
