In the early 1900s, Grandfather Pasquale came to America, followed by his family, including his daughter-in-law, Angela Carlino, who was known and loved as the famous "Mama Carlino."
Mama Carlino and her family opened their first family store in Ardmore, PA, in the 1980s, offering homemade pasta, sauces, and the freshest pastries and cookies. The business flourished and grew over the years to become one of the best-known artisan food businesses in the Philadelphia area, with two gourmet markets and a full catering service.
Carlino's, now in its third generation of ownership, remains a frontrunner in artisan food production. Always striving to innovate, Carlino's responded to customer demand for bulk quantities of its most popular products by establishing Carlino's Manufacturing & Importing Co., a wholesale division of its beloved retail stores.
Carlino's continues to grow and make strides in the wholesale market, focusing on sourcing the best ingredients and creating and sharing high-quality, clean-label products.
