Dr. Woods began in 2007 with the goal of blending organic fair trade shea butter with Olive oil, Hemp oil and Coconut oil to create the perfect soap that would moisturize the skin with each and every cleanse. Dr. Woods formed long lasting relationships with Shea Butter Cooperatives in Ghana, Senegal, Nigeria and Burkina Faso that provided economic opportunity for those areas while providing the finest quality Shea Butter and Black Soap for our Dr. Woods products. Dr. Woods was the first to liquify Raw Black soap into a user friendly body care product.
