In 2015, while in her final year of a Fashion Design & Technology Degree, Sara Jonsdottir created a collection of Period-Proof Underwear aiming to breakdown the taboo around menstruation. Her goal was to offer new solutions and revolutionize the menstrual product industry; an industry that hadn't seen any significant developments since the late 1980s.
Sara has always been a strong believer in change and knew then that she wanted to make an impact using her design skills as "? a channel for advocating change in equality amongst race, gender, and sexual orientation." Sara draws much of her inspiration and vision from her unquestioningly feminist homeland, Iceland.
After overwhelming demand for her innovative undies, Sara left her career in the garment industry to launch Revol Cares. Today with her husband Mayo Santos, they have taken these life-changing products to an international market.
