In 1980, even before the organic industry began, necessity inspired me to develop and pioneer the first organic baby foods. I founded Healthy Times organic baby foods and pioneered the first organic baby foods on the market. My mission was to give children a healthy start. I started with a teething biscuit. After my pediatrician asked me where to get the biscuit my baby was chewing on, I decided to make them available to moms. I found a bakery who would make my biscuits, using my recipe and went to the first show (Natural Products Expo). The biscuits went nationwide! From there my vision was to fill in the baby section with the first healthy, organic option for moms. I created organic baby cereal, jar baby foods, baby's first cookie, toddler cookies, puffed snacks/cereals for toddlers. I also created baby care products under Baby's Herbal Garden that consisted of natural shampoo, bath, lotion, conditioner and oil. The line was the first natural baby care line. I sold the lines in the US nationwide, Canada, Singapore, South Korea, Hong Kong, Indonesia, & China. After my children grew up, I began cooking for my dogs. I then realized my dogs are just like babies. It was important to keep them healthy and stay away from products that could contain harmful pesticides or chemicals. I created a high quality pancake mix out of organic ingredients that are good for them. I use the same sources as I did for baby food knowing how clean the ingredients are. Making organic pancakes for my dogs is not only fun, but rewarding seeing them enjoy them and knowing how healthy they are. Quick & Easy too. I also discovered that there are no treats on the market that are tender enough for puppies, small dogs & seniors. I developed Lilly's Littles (named after my picky little girl Shihtzu) that are tender to eat and contain the best organic ingredients. I will continue creating organic, healthy foods for my dogs and am excited to share them with dog parents worldwide.
